Kenzie is a freshman undergraduate studying at the University of Oklahoma. A double-major in Biology and English, she is from Des Moines, Iowa. Currently, she hopes to find a career in biological research after completing graduate school. Kenzie also has a passion for writing Young Adult fiction, and she intends to pursue further studies to be an author. With a passion for animals that began at a very young age, Kenzie joined the lab through the Honors First Year Research Experience (FYRE) program at OU. In her free time, Kenzie enjoys reading, writing, swimming, and spending time outside.
