Julianne is an undergraduate freshman studying Biology at the University of Oklahoma. Despite only having ever lived in Edmond, Oklahoma, some of her favorite childhood memories are on road trips or traveling all around the country for volleyball tournaments. She joined the Siler Lab through OU’s First Year Research Program (FYRE), inspired by her love of animals and the environment. She plans on gaining more experience in the lab and is curious about conservation and field work. At OU, Julianne partakes in Green Week, a volunteering club focused on sustainability, and attends events held by the Honors Student Association. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and watching YouTube.
