My name is Isiah Caldwell, and I am from Oklahoma City. I have had an interest in herpetology since I was a kid, and I would spend a lot of my time outside walking to different parks in the city or I would check out dinosaur books and other science books from the library.  I love to watch animals and to learn more about them so working somewhere I can learn more would be an amazing experience. Since coming to OU, I have had a little bit of experience doing research in ichthyology as well as research and teaching experience in entomology as a TA. My immediate goals for the future are to study abroad in Yamaguchi, Japan and to go to graduate school. Long term, my goals are to go into research and potentially research translation.
