Isaac is a Biology major from Edmond, Oklahoma entering his Sophomore year. As a young kid, he was always outdoors, exploring, camping, and fishing. This exposure to nature and wildlife sparked his love for animals and was what pushed him to begin his journey with biology. In high school, he was introduced to a biology teacher that kept various reptiles in her classroom. This led him to keeping some of his own reptile pets, and grew his love for herpetology. After carrying out his Freshman year of college as a Biology student, he knew that he wanted to get more involved with herpetology and began working in the Siler Lab at the start of Summer 2017. His other pastime hobbies and interests include playing guitar, singing, hiking, fishing, and sports. He plans to further his education in biology in graduate school.
