Claudia Goss is an undergraduate junior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. She was admitted to the University with plans to pursue a career in clinical research, however she fell in love with Herpetology after taking Jessa Watters’ Field Herpetology class in the Summer of 2021. She has had an interest in genetics for most of her life and plans to earn a graduate degree and pursue a career that would allow her to study the intersection of both genetics and Herpetology.

In her free time, Claudia loves reading and spending time at home with her cat, Violet. She also spends her time cheering on other students at the university, as well as serving the Norman community as a member of the RUF/NEK Lil’ Sis organization. Originally from Austin, TX, Claudia loves traveling home to spend time with friends and family and tries to sneak in a visit to her favorite coffee shop each time she visits.
