The Sam Noble Museum had another fantastic Science in Action event last weekend, with booths run from all over the museum, campus and Oklahoma (highlights included the Oklahoma Biological Survey and the Museum of Osteology). The museum holds the event annually and it is a great opportunity for the general public to enjoy the galleries for FREE, learn about what types of research on ongoing in Oklahoma, plus get any objects identified by the experts. This year members of the public brought in over 1200 objects for identification. The Siler Lab featured an assortment of family-friendly activities about snakes, in association with the big summer exhibit Titanoboa.

Be sure to following the Sam Noble Museum on facebook, twitter, or the website to learn about exciting year-round museum events!  More photos are also available on the museum’s Science in Action 2016 facebook album.
