Laney Rennert is an undergraduate freshman at the University of Oklahoma and is from Austin, Texas. She was first interested in biology due to a childhood love of dinosaurs. Laney is majoring in biology with minors in chemistry and German and plans continue on to graduate school after finishing her undergraduate degree. She plans to focus in evolution and is very excited to gain experience in the Siler lab through the FYRE program. Her future goals are to continue to evolutionary biology in graduate school.
