Kasey is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Biology at the University of Oklahoma. He grew up in El Reno, Oklahoma where he attended high school as well as the local college before transferring to the University of Oklahoma. Kasey is expected to graduate in the spring of 2018 and hopes to pursue a career in medicine, joining his love for biology and passion for people.

Kasey was first introduced to herpetology in his spring 2017 semester, when he attended Dr. Siler’s herpetology course. He had always had a love for the outdoors but after attending a weekend trip to the Red Slough WMA with the class he soon found out that he had a new love for herping. He is excited to continue field work this spring as well as applying his passion for genetic studies in the continued search for ranavirus and chytrid fugus. In Kasey’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family, restoring vehicles, and cooking.
