Josh is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He is passionate about wildlife management and conservation biology, as well as science education, and plans to pursue a graduate degree in these fields. He has participated in field expeditions ranging from the deserts of New Mexico to the mountains of Oregon to the rainforests of Costa Rica, as well as participating in several herpetology classes with Dr. Siler. However, the Spring 2017 field season will be his first as an official member of the Siler Lab.

Even when he’s not doing fieldwork, you’ll most likely still find Josh outdoors. He enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing, and hammocking. He is also a freelance photographer specializing in engagement, commercial, and expedition photography as well as the co-founder of Cedar Skate Shop, a custom longboard manufacturing company.
